Default Does anyone have whats done at each Service Interval

I was wondering if there is a website or a list of what is done at each service interval? All models would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don't know about a website but it's in the front of the service manual.

It's actually in your Owners Manual too, the difference is the owners manual tells you what needs to be done, the Service Manual tells you how to do it.

I'm not sure, but at my 10,000 service...they charged me for four hours labor...it was in there for less than an hour and a half. What gives?

Get a service manual for $60 and it has all the 411. Any questions you have can be answered on here. Save some green and make sure all is done correctly.

4 hours and only took 1.5? i would be going back and talking to the service manager about a refund of 2.5 hours.

Yep...four hours. They said they had to charge me what the book called for. And that didn't even include changing oil! It was also quite a coincidence that my inner primary bearing went out a mere 200 miles after their "service"...but I don't suppose they could have done anything to cause that huh? I took it to a different dealer for the bearing repair...they did it in one day! I thought I was back on the road, until I noticed oil pouring on the ground from the drain plug area. I checked the plug...it seemed loose, so I tightned it...still leaking. Then I read here that there isn't supposed to be much torque on the drain plug. Jeez, you'd think if they went to all of the trouble with the bearing, that they would make sure there weren't any leaks. It doesn't seem as though they even road tested it! I suppose I'll have to take it back...I'll be noting the odometer reading when I leave it there.

Another reason why I do all my own wrenching unless it is a warrenty issue.
I have yet to meet one mechanic that works for Harley that even seems to know what they h*ll they are doing.

If I can do it myself, I will. If not, it sure as hell aint going to a HD shop. I have a local shop that I actually trust and their prices are about half what HD charges. Oh yeah and they don't charge by the magic HD "book". If something takes an hour, you get charged for an hour. I guess what I'm saying is check out independent shops if you don't want to or can't do it yourself.
