triton you couden`t be more right on and thats the only way these shops will get the understanding that they cannot keep ripping us off, most of the indy`s are ex h.d. mech anyway

Get yourself a service manual and do the work yourself...I found that I save money even if I need to purchase a new tool to do the job...Plus I have the tool for the next time...Unless it's something too time consuming were it isn't cost effective for me to do it...I'm all about saving some coin and making sure it's done right...How many mechanics use a torque wrench at the Harley shops you go to...hell, your lucky if you get them to use neverseize on the aluminum...Plus you have a forum full of help to use...Later
