Default Question on rear turn signals

I was wondering why only the front turn signals stay illuminated and work as needed bu the rear only light and blink when you put the directional on? Is it possible to make the rear stay lit like the fronts?

Thanks,

Don

Yes, you can get the directional/turn/brake conversion kit from Harley.

Laws require that all rear lights that remain on be RED and not amber. You can howeve change the lens to red and hove them on all the time and also work as extra brake and tunrsignal. Search for this part number.

you can also go with some the Panacea solution from Kuryakyn
http://www.kuryakyn.com/category.asp...amp;sn=Panacea

My rear brake light, and turn signals are all LED. The turn signals flash (along witht he brake light) a few times before turning solid. With the blinker on, the signal light flashes as well as an amber chevron in the brake light housing... while running down the road the brake light and turn signals are running lights.

There are other LED solutions, I've pretty much heard good things about them all. I don't know if all of them transform your signals into brake/running lights though.
I've seen threads where people seem to think the Kury LEDs may not be as bright as the stock bulb, but I say "bullocks"... they are plenty bright.

I did this and it is a great option, looks great and lets people see more lights which is safer.
