It runs in the 10.50s in the 1/4 mi right now but having a difficult time getting the suspension to hook up so as the get the 60ft times where they need to be. Its a 95ci motor thats been tricked out by Wes Brown at Cyclerama and makes approx 147HP.

A friend of mine and his friend pull tandum wheelies. My friend has a Wide Glide and his friend has a Night Train. Its cool to see a raked out Harley throwing the front tire in the air. They pull 2nd gear wheelies and can ride them forever. The Night Train rear tire lasts about 3000 miles. Good thing he works for the local harley dealership.

I think the spectators watching the Bob stunts must have a death wish.

My fairly stock FXDBI will pull a wheelie to the balance point. I just don't have the nuts to ride it out like those guys. For those of you who only get wheelspin or just can't do it, I bet it is just the "pulling the trigger" that is the problem

I personally like 2nd gear. going about 1/4 throttle or a bit less for a 20 feet or so fo rthe approach. Roll the throttle off completly and immediatly roll back onto the throttle to about 2/3 as you shift your weight back. MX and Sportbikes just require the roll on to get up, no real shift in weight.

Have fun, wheelies are fun and remember it is your bike don't let others make decisions for your bike.
