Default lowering my custom

Being a short type guy I would like to lower my bike a bit. I see the progressive 412 shocks may do the trick? There are different types of the shocks. Any suggesstions? thanks

I used shock relocation made by Tamarac (TMW). I have to check on ebay and see who I got them from. They make different sizes. 1', 1 1/2', 1 3/4', and 2'. All they do is move your stock shocks back and it keeps the same ride as the factory shock. My SG now sits lower than the SB. I used 1 3/4 on mine. Love the look and the ride is great. The instal is simple just follow the instructions provided. Cost was $95.

I'm 6' but only a 29-1/2" inseam - put Progressive 412 11" Heavy Duty in black on my Bobstah - what a difference - love 'em! And now I'm flat footed and not tippy toed at a stop any more. I went with the HDs incase I decide on some two-up riding down the road. Progressive recommends the HDs for 220 lbs and over. I'm just under 200 lbs.

Also put some Progressive front springs in (standard duty) and lowered them a bit to level out the bike by cutting down the spacer. I also prefer a stiffer shock, but some disagree and say the HDs are way too stiff and hard on bumps. While they're not wrong, I'm willing to give up some comfort for a really planted, super handling bike that does what i want it to.

Being vertically handicaped as well.

I went with the 412's as well but cheated and pushed my front tubes up to level the bike.
Like Chip said the bike handles great!
