Default oil filters

Good morning!
does anyone use wix oil filters on the 96" dyna's I use them on my cars and they work fine. I I am trying to find a cheaper alternative to a $13.00 harley davidson filter. If the filter micron size is as small or smaller than harley's
and it has the anti-flow back valve i can't see why it would make any differance. I can buy the wix filter for $4.72 The cool thing about this is the harley uses the same filter as both my car's!!

I personally do not recommend using any other filter on the Twin Cam other than the official Harley one. As for the EVO......that is a totally different story.

...I've been running the new AmSoil Oil filter, with their oil, far better than anything else I've run. (Hot 2000 FXDX)

The plain Jane black HD filters are under $8.00 on sale at my dealer. They're as good as anything I've found and I just buy 3-4 when they're on sale so I always have a couple extra.

I'm using the K&N filter but it's getting just as expensive as the Harley filter.Last time I bought a Harley filter was last year and it was 29 dollars here in Canada and the K&N was 17,now it is 20.You guys have it cheap,I'm jealous.

And your point is what? The link is to an Amsoil dealer and I wouldn't expect him to be pushing or "approving" anything other than Amsoil products? For what it's worth, I've been using Amsoil since my first oil change and tried their filters, no better, nor worse than the HD and nowhere near the same price.
