Got a Drag Dealer that put a drag filter on my bike, I too have been running a Amsoil filter and amsoil in my motor. Got about 10,000 on my bike so far this year. Its a 07. H-D don't make oil filters anyway.

I use the FRAM motorcycle filters on all my 06' StreetBob. it is a PH-6022 for about $5 at advance auto parts. I use Mobil 1 V-TWIN 20w50 oil.

Personally I can't see spending more money on the HD filter when in fact you know HD uses a company such as WIX or FRAM as their filter supplier. It's not like HD has their own factory making HD filters, it's a supplier putting HD on the side of the filter.

The link is to an Amsoil dealer and I wouldn't expect him to be pushing or "approving" anything other than Amsoil products? For what it's worth, I've been using Amsoil since my first oil change and tried their filters, no better, nor worse than the HD and nowhere near the same price.
...Save a few of your old filters and cut them open, see for yourself outside of the company info.
The micro filtering AmSoil claims is true.
Now look inside a stock H-D Oil filter.

Does Fram, Wix, Mobil 1, etc offer a black oil filter for these bikes? I'd hate to have an orange filter hanging out there.
