PGR Saturday - DFW Area

PGR Saturday - DFW Area
If anyone wants to get out and ride for a GREAT cause on Saturday, the Patriot Guard is working with the Soldiers' Angels to support an Operation Iraqi Freedon vet. Read on...
This vet returned wounded and was hospialized for several months. During that time, his wife left him and all off his possessions were stored in a warehouse in California. She didn't pay the bill and the warehouse was about to auction off his stuff when the Soldiers' Angels stepped to pay the bill.
A PGR Ride Captain from California is driving the stuff to Arlington Texas to deliver it to the soldier's home. We are staging a group of riders to hook up with him and ride in and make the drop in Arlington. It's going to be a blast with flags waving and motors revving as we pull in. If anyone wants to join us, drop me an email at ktm_scott@yahoo.com or PM me here and I'll send you the details.
All bikes and riders are welcome.

RE: PGR Saturday - DFW Area UPDATE
By popular request...
I'm forwarding a long thread so you can get a
feel for what all is going on Saturday. There are
actually two events, but one is 120 miles from Dallas
in Ranger, Tx. Many of us are going to both, but many
others are staging in for the Arlington run to the
Soldier's home that I mentioned on HDF. That said,
read the text below and get back to me if you want
more details.

recently released from the VA Hospital and this
Mission is a joint effort between the PGR and
Soldier's Angels.
Weather forecast indicates a slight chance of
scattered showers. Plan on HOT temperatures and great

Ranger whose son made the ultimate sacrifice in
Vietnam. Fort Hood will provide an Apache helicopter
flyover.

RE: PGR Saturday - DFW Area UPDATE
PGR is an outstanding group. I joined and then deployed so have not been able to join any rides. The unfortunate reality is, when I return I will be able to ride to honor these heroes. Also if needed, give my email out to any of these guys. I'm not wounded, but did lose a wife and 3 kids to this line of work and I hope I can help in any way. Ride safe PGR, thank you. chadmiller62102@earthlink.net
