I don't think the ECM will work correctly without the O2 sensor input. The air/fuel mixture is controlled by the ECM. Welding in new correctly sized bungs is probably the easiest fix, other than buying another set of pipes. Would be a simple job for a good welder. Probably not what you want to hear, I know. I don't see another option but maybe someone else has an idea. Good luck 🤞
Vance and Hines lists two iterations of Short Shots for Dynas: Fits 2006 - 2011, and fits 2012 to 2017. This is specifically for the two different sizes of O2 sensors. Someone sold you the wrong ones. Take or send them back and get the correct ones.

Yep, unfortunately on ebay, I could go after the seller for wrong info, but then I will have to pay to ship, which would be about 1/3 of the total; I'll just resell and list it for the correct years to recoup some of the cost. I bit the bullet and ordered new ones today from J&P along with new studs since one came out as it was rusted to the nut, may as well do it right if I have the pipes off.
Sorry about the mixup. I had something like that happen once with bike parts on ebay, fortunately the seller was stand-up enough to pay return shipping.
Bummer.... Weird way to build em, most weld both bungs on and cap em. You pull the caps for the ones you need. Seems like a easier way to make one exhaust instead of two for a company.
