Default Rocker box breather

Any luck seperating the halves without damaging the breather? Stuck good. Thanks.

The plastic breather are the first gen and obsolete now. Then they went to a newer aluminum style that is also obsolete and now they have a nice metal version that comes with a sponge and umbrella valve. So if you have the plastic ones don’t bother putting them back in, they’re junk. Get the new ones.

This is important

Use the bolts that come with the new breathers and NOT the old ones. They're different lengths. Also, clean the blind holes with air and some q-tips so you don't break the cast aluminum.

I have learned that a lot of guys drill the oil return port to .125"... I did it to my new heads because I was told it was necessary...
