Guys, I've never had this problem. When you take it back for service, make sure it is repeatable or you will hear, "We couldn't get it to do it,", or, "It's a Harley, they all do it."

Keep us posted on what you find. May be the magnetic sensor is out of alignment or the wire to the ECU is not making good connection. Especially since you have checked the Battery Ground. There's several other grounds, the ones running to the frame, check them as well.
