Default lower belt guard

Help. I need an oem lower belt guard for my 06 Street Bob. Can anyone help. Took mine off and now I can't find it. The dealer is taking my bike on consignment but said they can't sell it without the belt guard.

That old dad gum worthless belt guard is suppost to keep try to keep rocks out of yer belt which can poke a hole in the belt. It also helps keep other junk out of the belt and pulley. More stuff on the road pop up and hit the belt guard than you realize.
Go to the dealer and git yerself a chrome belt guard. If you lost the bolts that held the sucker on, ask for them also.

I put the chrome cover on my bike when I got it 2 years ago. You can tell by all the dents and dings in it just how much crap gets thrown up from the road towards your belt. Good idea to put it back on.

I'd like to see the day the dealer supplies anything and puts it on at no cost. I'll hold my breath. Tell me when.

That'll never happen.

I think he said his cost as in dealer cost not full retail.
