Just pop it up here when you find out... Bike is looking good tho.... Keep it up..

I always like enjoy watching your builds progress. Great work so far!

I've been watching a '97 Convertable that's for sale in my area. It's all original except for some signal lamp visors. After seeing this thread, I may have to go and take a closer look...

Thanks man. Don’t pass on it, those are killer scoots. I was gonna run all that stock accessory **** but the more I dug in the more I found wrong. So some changes got made but it’ll still retain an OG look.

97 and 98's were probably the best years of the Evo's... Everything came together in the end, before the end... Too bad, great run on a great bike...

Got up to a crisp 1deg in the garage this weekend so almost zero progress except for managing to get the pipe mounted. 20+ years of running Thunderheaders never had one fight me like this. Neither head pipe would line up and fought me for hours. Plus the cold had me completely over it. Do love a chrome Thunderheader though so it’s worth it.

Man that pipe looks great. How's running that Mikuni treating you?

haven’t even ran fuel through it yet. Just mounted it and waiting to finish everything else up.
