I spoke with Kury yesterday and they didnt seem to know whether or not the
Kuryakyn Low Profile L.E.D. Taillight Conversion, Smoke Lenswould fit the 07 street bob or not. I'd read some reviews out here and didnt recall if anyone with the 07 had put this part on successfully or not.

the part number is 4959.

Can anyone tell me?

 

I put one on my 07 Street Bob a couple of months ago. They fit fine. Unfortunately I don't have any photos of it.

i ordered it yesterday along with some smoked lenses for the turn signals. thanks for the input guys.

 

YES IT FITS- here are some pics for ya. the only thing I am going to do is take it back off and put a bead of silicone between the chrome base and the lens. this last time I washed the bike I got water inside the taillight. that's aftermarket for ya, nothing fits like stock I guess.

 

Yeah, I hear that. I 'found out' aboutneeding the siliconethe hard way, too. Stock just don't look as cool, though.[sm=smiley20.gif]Mines a '06, I don't think the fenders are different, are they?

I've got the silver paint job and i think the taillight will look great with that.

i'll be sure to pick up some silicone as well before installing it.

 

I had one on my 06 Street Bob and about 8 months after I had it the wires got all crusty and broke, I think from moisture, thats an expensive mod to just take off and throw away.

 

strich get the narrowed turn signal brackets also. you will like, i promise. lol
your signals wont look like they are hangin off a diving board.
