I had a 97 fxd and loved it... when it came time to get another I test drove a softail 2up w/ my ol' lady.. It scraped while turning in the F'n parking lot.. I got another Dyna... (Wash, Rinse, Repeat) I was in the market again for another bike and test drove a Fatboy.. took a curve while riding 2 up.. and scraped again.. (You'd have thought I would've learned the first time..[:@]) Got the Lowrider... Love it.. and really have to get after it to scrape now..
I didnt care for the softails handeling or the "feel" of the motors powerband either..
Test ride what you think you might like to ride... and decide from there
IMHO the Dynas the only way to go..
