good morning So yesterday i took delivery of a 2014 dyna low rider purchased from my local dealership . i am looking for an engine guard any recomendations all the ones i have looked at say with mid controls mine has forward controls

 

I have a Lindbar on my 05, and it has forward controls. I like it!!

I'm looking for an HD engine guard too but I am trying to score a deal on a used one.

So far I picked up a mint HD quick detach windshield, from a forum member, for $200 and an HD Five Bar Sport Luggage Rack for $50.

Hoping to score an HD Engine Guard for around $100.

 

the one in the HD catalog works good, plus you can put a set of their soft lowers on it for riding in cooler weather. here are a couple of pics of my bike with the guard and soft lowers.

 

so know i am looking for a horn relocation bracket so i can mount my engine guard . that the instructions say to use. that and the hardware wish it was black

 

relocating the horn bracket is not necessary, just drill out the threads in it and run the upper bolt strait thru and nut it on the other side.
