I don't know why you don't like the chrome extension. I think it looks pretty good!

Since you run an Auto Dealership, just have one of your boys Bondo it, sand it, then prime and paint to match

I saw this in the Kuryakyn catalog and wondered what it actually looks like installed. Thanks for posting pix. It actually looks damn good. I was afraid that maybe it extended the fender too far. I have a scratch down there that I need to cover up anyway.

Good God Al-Mighty, just go to the local car place and pick up a set of skull lic. plate bolts and put one of them in there..there was that so hard?? or go to the local Ace hardware store get the right size bolt and a chrome acorn nut and slip it in there..use your head fore something besides a hat holder..quit asking dumb questions like that, you should be thinking about changing your summer air out and putting in winter air or your tires will dry rot from inside out.
I waited too long for the winter tire air! I can't find it anywhere, been all over Ebay and even the MOCO seems to be sold out......... Maybe they'll have some by Christmas.
I saw some at Sheetz, but it said FREE, so I passed it up.
Yep, lots of different platebolts out there. Have you thought of using mud?

DougJ
not sure you need to chage out your air there either, but if you can't find any, PM me and I'll send you some..don't forget to put your tires on the carpet for winter storage now.

Right now I feel pretty trashy, I don't really care about that hole in my fender, might just go out and stick a lic. plate Reflector in it, that should do it.[sm=bling.gif]

I think it looks better on a black bike than it does on my black cherry. I liked it at first, but now it's so-so...

GoCubs - beingcheap - I took the easy way and painted them to match the tins. I had the bolt holes filled and cut and tapped to mount the fender from inside.
Notrealwild about the look -but cheaper than chrome and different
