you probably don't need to, you live where you can pretty much ride year round, but those up here in the north, we need to..I also park my bikes on old chunks of carpet, sort of eases the weight of the cold tires sitting on the cold concrete of my garage. I like to spray WD-40 up into my mufflers and pipes as that helps to keep them from rusting from the inside out.

Good God Al-Mighty, just go to the local car place and pick up a set of skull lic. plate bolts and put one of them in there..there was that so hard?? or go to the local Ace hardware store get the right size bolt and a chrome acorn nut and slip it in there..use your head fore something besides a hat holder..quit asking dumb questions like that, you should be thinking about changing your summer air out and putting in winter air or your tires will dry rot from inside out.
I waited too long for the winter tire air! I can't find it anywhere, been all over Ebay and even the MOCO seems to be sold out......... Maybe they'll have some by Christmas.
I saw some at Sheetz, but it said FREE, so I passed it up.
Yep, lots of different platebolts out there. Have you thought of using mud?

Ok guys...

Any ideas on what I can use to plug the hole in the back of my Wide Glide's front fender?

I don't like the hole but I also don't like the leathermud flaps and chrome extention tips sold for that area. I checked Harley, Kuryakyn, Ebay and everything sold is HUGE.

Looking for some kind of chrome button/skull/ornament or something.

How 'bout some ideas from you creative types?

Thanks,

Tony
Put a Gremlin Bell there, or deer whistle, or some chew, ...how about a piece of spaghetti? drag a beer from there on a string? one more round of ammo? Condoms? [sm=lildevil.gif]

I have the fox creek studded throwovers on my low rider...get a lot of compliments on them...I used there black fury thing that goes between the yoke and the fender....I like the way it looks but makes putting the passenger pilloin on a little harder. I got the zip off yokes but never use the zip off as I just take the pillion and bags off when I want to.
