Default Oil pan part # ?

I cracked my oil pan yesterday and I’m trying to find a new one.

The bike is a 99 fxd or fxdsc

The part# for the fxd is 26085-99
The part# for the fxdsc is 26087-99

Does anyone know if there’s a critical difference between these two part #s or would I be ok with either of them? Either way it’s for a TC88 so I can’t imagine what the difference could be. Any help is appreciated (mechanical or psychological).

Cracked oil pan at 9000’ elevation off road 😫

I could, and that’s definitely an option, but finding someone who can weld aluminum, and paying them to grind it clean, and weld it without vaporizing it, and then having it re painted may be more of a headache than finding an eBay replacement for $150 or whatever.

The ****ed part is it’s a discontinued part so no can get it from Harley, and the dealer said if it were available, it would only be $40.

WS6 Formula, thanks for the link, but help me out man I’m slow 🧐..is that saying one is black and one is ‘plain’...or one is the pan and one is the ‘assembly’...? I still don’t get what the two part numbers are. 😫

Both are listed at the same price, so same part but different colors.

Perfect. Ayy thank you guys so much! Some more digging and it looks like the 26087-99(A) also comes with a few extras...drain plugs, baffle, etc.

Anyway thanks again! Those links came in clutch! Surdyke has it for $150 👌🏼

Top right of Surdyke's page, free shipping on orders over $169.00. Maybe a couple of extra oil filters to add to your order or something else you need.

So how did you crack your oil pan? That's not a normal replacement part.

Hahahah youre telling me!" I took it rambling up a 4x4 trail and sat it down on a big lava rock. I made it to the top, but getting it back from 9000' without being able to start it was a lot harder . Ive been laid off since March, and have entirely way too much time on my hands, which has cost me a lot of money in broken toys.
