Dealer item - around $35. Keep in mind it will likely expose unpainted surface in the crossover tubes.
If I had to do it again, I'd get one that has quick disconnect so the tank can be removed without draining.
Dealer does not sell a quick disconnect, likely an ebay item.

You can get the dealer item for around $35. IT will leave some unpainted surface on the tube exposed. I did not like it. So I found on ebay someone selling 2ft of hose with two chrome clamps for about $12. I will be taking off the HD junk hose as soon as the fuel gets lower.

Has anyone tried the braid that you can get that just slips over the existing rubber hose?
(I'm not sure if Harley sells it, but as I recall that used to be an option for cars, when I was into that years ago).

what year is your wide glide? I have a 2005. When you look at the part number for that year, and order the part, and then get the part.... you will see that it is too short to actually be installed on the bike. 63729-04 does not fit the wide glide, regardless of what the description says
Above posts indicate exposing some paint...... I never tried to put mine on, I just held it up and could see it was too short.... maybe I might have been able to put it on, but it sounds like I would have that exposed issue mentioned above

I don't think HD makes a quick disconnect. I have one from E - Z Connect, or something like that. I don't think they are in business any more.

I went this route Earl's 900104 - Earl's Econ-O-Fit Hose Clamps from Jegs http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...10002_53030_-1
We have a Jegs / Barnett in ATL that stocks it. I ordered the "exact fit" on ebay and got one too long - one from who knows where.
They finally sent me 10 feet of 5/16 SS Braided hose to shut me up.So now I can go into business selling pre-cut SS hose
Clamps look good and work well. If I ever redo my tank I'll weld quick-disconnect bungs on it.
Send me a PM and I'll cut you a (correct size) piece of SS line - N/C...
Take care dd

I have a new one, still in the plastic. Decided not to use it.

I just noticed that HD used your bike as a model for the new Rocker, but decided to go with a softail frame.

Sorry for the hi-jack, but has anyone used a braided crossover hose with a Jackyl 2-inch tank lift? I was going to, but the stock tube is right up agaist the frame nowand I figured the braided line would wear thru the paint on the frame. I'm just sayin'.
