Something ain't kosher with that spoke breakage though!

Reality is re-spoking a wheel is nearly as much as just buying a new rim. Especially with the hacks out there re-spoking them new becomes more attractive. You can't just replace a broken spoke without breaking down the whole wheel.

Good opportunity to switch to a cast wheel and be done with spokes.

I have those Sportster style mags on both my bikes. Spokes do look cool though with chrome rim etc.

I wouldn't trust your tech to respoke your wheels. It seems that you feel the same way. After what you told us about this problem I don't know if I would use him for anything. You're better off buying a complete new rim and have it installed. Lots of shops can do that job, they don't have to specialize in Harleys.

this seems very worrying to me....tech said he will respoke the wheel and it will take him few hours......
cast wheel cost a lot...like 4000 usd here in europe.....it is too much......
so now i will worry all the time what will happen and i dont want to have cast wheel only back, if I change I would do both.....but they are expensive as hell

and he told me to drive to his place that it is ok if i drive there......

Rear wheel has some that definitely sound loose / shaky ... Do you have a dirt bike shop in your area ... They're more suited and ( probably ) less expensive on the service for putting new spokes in the wheel
