Hello all and greetings from Finland.

So I've been thinking of upgradeing my -06 Wide Glide 88ci with 103ci or bigger engine. I dont know if it is even possible without building the bike entirely from ground up again.

Does someone have experience on similar project or just please share your thoughts and ideas.

Using your engine the biggest you can bore to is 98"...there are 100" kits from s&s and maybe others. To go any bigger with your engine you'd need to split the cases and get a stroker crank. As far as swapping out your engine for a larger displacement...anything is possible with enough money. If it were my bike id just build a killer 98".

 

If you are just talking about swapping your 06 Dyna motor for a 103 (let's say Road king motor ) it will work and pretty much be a bolt on except for requiring a tuner and use of your throttle body
