Default Single seat - modified for comfort I hope !

I find the Bob seat too wide, too firm and not supportive at the back ... so I attacked mine with a stanley knife !

I had a gel bicycle seat which I know is very comfortable ... so I stripped the cover off the seat, it comes of very easily, then by trial removing a little foam at a time i fit the gel seat into the cheap foam HD use in the seat. At the same time I dropped the back by an inch and carved a scoop where my legs go.

Wow ... huge improvement ... will let you know how much better on a long trip but suddenly my legs are able to hug the bike and I have more reach ... I may even be able to fit the highway pegs now for my short **** 29" legs !

The cover is a little too large, but not too bad and I plan to make a leather cover for my seat to fit properly (undecided brown or black leather) over the winter ... there may be a little adjusting to be done yet !
