Looks awesome, shiftace. That's the perfect setup and those stripes on the fairing really pull it all together. The chrome Ness Big Sucker and Thunderheader is always a winning combination in my books.

thanks dude. I’ve been obsessing over that air cleaner though for months. Thinking of doing a stage one so it’s a bit smaller. More cover options for the stage 1 also. I dunno, more money I don’t need to spend but something about it isn’t checking my boxes.

I've been going back and forth with the air cleaner on my Electra Glide as well since I'm still just running the stock cover with the stage-1 filter. Like you said, it's more money that a guy doesn't need to spend and I'm also really trying to keep things simple with this bike. It's always a work in progress though, so, I'll probably just roll with what I have until something else really speaks to me.

Shift, can you please post a pic of your exhaust coming near the front of you down tube. Is there room for forward controls... In looking at pipes I'm noticing a lot are made for mid controls..

Thanks

Supposedly one pipe fits all (application specific) but I’ve never ran forwards with anything so I can’t say for sure. I’ll grab a pic of mine and you can check it out.

Hey shift, could I trouble you for a favor? Could you lay a square against the seam of the seat where the lumbar meets the seating portion and a fixed point on the frame and tell me how far back it is? Maybe the same with where the lumbar meets the rear portion? I’m trying to figure out if the Daytona will sit me where I need to be, I refuse to give up the mids, but I have a 35” inseam and need to be back.

overall I love it. However I went too small (it’s a large, I need an xl) so with my sunglasses on the cheek pads press really tight and give me a headache after a while. Only with glasses on though. I switched to the thinnest cheek pads they make and it’s still too tight. I had feedback before getting it too about fitment and ignored it lol. My simpsons were all larges and fit fine but whatever. It’s a great lid in every other aspect.
