Yeah, was gonna post this in the brake sub forum but the traffic in there is slow. Anyways. I知 in the process of a dual disc swap on my low rider. I知 running newer bagger Brembos and am looking for an 11/16 master cyl. I found a newer bagger brembo master cyl but was wondering If my brake lever will swap over to the brembo master? Reason being is I just bought shorty levers and don稚 want to have to buy a whole new set for just one side. Anyone make the swap to that master cyl and have feedback? Thanks.

 

Isn't your MC 11/16", why do you have to switch it out, why can't you use it?

 

No, mines a single disc 9/16.

 

When I went dual disc I used the 2015 LR 11/16" MC, smooth as silk, everything was easy and matched up. I used these brake lines below, type, not specific size as the one pictured. Cheers

ive got lines, calipers, hardware, everything except the m/c. I think I got a line on an 11/16 off an sportster roadster.

 

No the levers won't swap over.

Also Fwiw, the Brembo M/C is 15mm (11/16 is 17.46mm)

I just did a quick eBay search for "Harley 11/16 Master Cylinder." Five pages of results came right up.

 

I get that part, I was curious about the levers mainly. Which multihdrdr handled.

Btw, you're using 11.8" rotors ... yes?

 

I did. Surdyke of course had it, yes I知 running 2 11.8痴 up front and a matching 11.5 in back because mismatched rotors give me hives. EBC pads all around and I got a Master cyl off IG yesterday so once the slider and the Race Tech internals show up I値l be busy.
