When the motor was out for it's 103 upgrade, we painted the frame and all Dodge Electric Blue. By using a "stock" color, future matches/touchups are going to be easier. We also went with V-Rod emblems on the tank sides.
The black bike is a brothers bike a couple of years ago with the same tank emblems.....

I'm still happy with my dealer colours,but if i was ever to do it , i would have a pro completely RED WING my bike , cause i'm a Detroit Red Wing Nut. Motor City wheels and wings on sides of tank, and so on. But like someone else said , it has to be YOU, your idea, something that turns you on. well.the dude that did the flames on my bike was such a d^ck...i am going to eat the money i paid him.i am not going to let him paint it again. with his attitude he will just mess it up. i am just out the 200.00 . where the dogs ? let them out please .

Dude-
You should consider going without a tank badge (no mistaking your H-D) and just going with some old-school Von Dutch style pin striping on tank and fenders. You see that classic look on bobbers ... and isn't that the feel that H-D was going for with the FXDB?
