Harley batteries - Quality going downhill? Need recommendations!
#11
I have bought two Harley OEM batteries in the bast 18 months. One for my Geezer Glide and one for my Wide Glide. Haven't had any problems with either one and the Geezer Glide has a 1000 watt audio system with eight speakers which I listen to when I am working on stuff in the basement.

I've been using Batteys + Bulbs Duracell for about 8 years now, 2 year warrantee on em. Last 2 had a problem. Wife's 04 1200 Custom's battery crapped out after 11 months. Got a free replacement. My 07 Dyna's decided to die also, after 22 months. Yep, another free battery.

The battery that came in my 2015 Low Rider made it a year and half before crapping out. And yes, it was properly charged with a battery tender. The second one lasted about as long. Thankfully, I got the second battery under warranty. Two HD factory batteries lasted me about 3 years even though bike was always garaged and batteries charged with a tender. Went with one from this company and no issues:
