Default NEW AIR RIDE!!!

So i have ordered a set of lowering shocks for a tourning bike and the hoses and fittings. I am going to slap them on my bob for a plush ride! plus the gators in front will be tied in with the gators in back! does anyone know of a way to do a onboard compressor for cheap!? I would like to adjust the ride on the fly! OOH YA and USE SHOUT on your spokes!!! i was so amazed how well it cleaned them up it wasjust amazing!!!

why would you run an onboard compressor with those shocks? Even if you empty the air right out they will not be noticeably lower than with 5 or 10lbs in them. They are lowering shocks only in the sense that they are 1" shorter than stock,(stock is 13" on a touring bike, these are 12") not in the sense that they can be raised and lowered a couple of inches to give you a slammed look and then raise them up when you hit the hwy...those are a completely diff't system than these. (btw, I have them on my bike and just ran the air fitting under the seat. I just have to remove my seat when adding air when I'm loaded up for a trip or double up...you can just see the red air fitting in the picture below) I have the stock 13" on right now but the 12" would definately sit better, mine's a bit high in the back right now...Btw, if you buy these used make sure you tell the shipper to put the plugs in the air fittings so all the oil doesn't run out (i had originally bought 12"ers but the oil all ran out during shipping)

Took no time to install the new shocks! they are like floating on a cloud! I put in 25lbs... is that what i should run... look sick and dropped the back end of the bike 1 in! i then took my old dyna shocks and put them on my brothers sporty! i will post some pics as soon as i get home to take them! one more quesion.... to hook up the air lines I put in the new fittings and then just pushed in the air lines... is that correct? I then hooked up to the air compressor and it spikes to 50lbs and then slowly settled out at 25... not sure if that is normal.. but man do they look awesome!!! the boots on the air shocks do a great job tie'n in my gators on the front!

Don't think your supposed to use a compressor. I thought it would blow out the shocks. They make a hand pump for the shocks, Stealer said a bike pump would work also. Glad to know they fit, Might put them on my dyna. Thanks for the input.Ride safe.

My freind Street Glide takes 15 psi max. It's only like 2 pumps on a bike pump, so be carefull, it sound like you got a lot of money tied up in your system.

here is a pic of my set up! they are the lowering shocks and are chrome. i got them from eastern performance. I think around $138.00. I love the way the bike rides now and so does the old lady. Had to put links in because I keep getting error's everytime I try to upload pics.

I do not have nearly the space that you have in that area under the seat. I have a hard enough time getting all the wires in there to the seat does not pinch them.
