Takes about 20 minutes, take off seat, loosen rear tank bolt, remove front bolt(save it you'll use to install tank lift) put on lift in front slot, I used a towel under tank to lift it up so it would be easier to put lift in position, slide in bolts, put on washers and bolts, pull back on tank, tighten up. Step back and admire. I got my lift pronto from Jackyl, well made, $29.00 and 5.00 shipping. Bikes look so much better with a lift and added bonus, windshield has less air coming from underneath now. Great mod for under 50 bucks and super easy to install. Peace.

Easy to install - I didn't even remove my seat - just removed the bolt in the front of the tank, pulled up on the tank, placed the lift in place and slid the bolts in. Entire process took about 10 minutes. Great product - well made and make a big difference in looks IMHO. See before and after pics below.
