Can you somehow mount the hard bags from a Dyna switchback onto a 04 FXD? Would love to eventually put some hard bags on my bike. Reason i am asking is because someone has some switchback bags for sale that i was kinda looking at, wanted to see if anyone has done this yet before i go purchasing.

Yes, it’s very easy, but costly....see my post putting the custom back into the Superglide etc etc...

 

I think there is an anchor point on the fender bottom. Seems like you would need a switch back rear fender too or some sort of bracket that wraps around

 

There are a number of threads on it..but be warned, these bags are small....and yes there is a bracket that hold both bags together against the fender....a lot of people made there own...
