I now have the low-profile HD part # 58348-06 on my 07 street bob and it works great. I firsthad the standard height one on, and I did'nt like looking throught it. The low profile one I can look over. A little wind in the face but I like that.

I have the low profile lightly smoked windscreen on my 07 street bob. I tried the taller one also and I just didnt like that I could not see over it without lifting up for a quick look.I dont mind some wind, thats one of the reasons I ride.

I've never used a W/shield since I started riding in 1953. Last month I bought the HD Quick detach Compact standard height clear for a trip. I liked it! So, this month I bought the HD Quick detach Compact Low profile lightly tinted, for short trips and running around town. Like 'em both and they come off fast if I don't want 'em on.

HD quick release, I like it because it can be adjusted up and down for looks. Releases in 1 min. or less.

I have one of the HD quick release ones just sitting in my garage. Paid $250 or so for it I think. Used it 3 times and put a springing on my Bob so it doesn't fit anymore.

The few times I did use it, it was great for keeping the bugs off of me (love bug season here in FL SUCKS) and then for highway driving. Made it alot easier on me doing 80 for 6+ hours at a time.

I use the harley standard quick detach.......I use a full flip up helmet and with this helmet/windshield combo.....somedays I can go 85+ other days only 60mph before I stop seeing the road due to turbulence.....

If you are short the HD detachable might help. but I am 5'-10" it is not made for me. but if I was under 5'-0" it might work. I have found that the ride king sheild do a better job because they are wider and taller shields. You just have make up some hardware.

I did not want to block all the wind, just alittle to smooth out the ride some.
