I like my stripper seat it's really comfortable and I have ridden close to 700 miles a day a coupleof times, but my girlfriend is only good for about 50 miles at a time.

way to tall for bike 14`s would of been better imo, and please get rid of those stock mirrors

 

Bars look awsome. My 16" apes are the most comfortable bars I have ever owned. I can't imagine 18" wound be any less comfortable.

 

What's everybody worried about on ape hanger bars, and forward controls, They've been around for years. Apes and forward controls is the way to go bar none.

 

I second that, if you are reading this and thinking of apes, go for it. The handling is great, easy. I've gone hours in comfort with my 16's on my WG. Oh yeah, they look the nuts.

 

longest i've gone with 18" apes on my bob is 6 hours at a time. By then I was in Daytona so it was fine with me.

I went with the Psycho Chubby apes though because I liked the beefier look on them. They're 1 1/4" diameter

 

Slap me if I'm wrong, but ain't the 1 1/4 what comes standard on the new wide glides. I been thinking real hard about some apes over the factory apes. The dealer has been quoting me high labor prices and scared me off. I wanted the cables to not stick way out either.
A person can normally look at how high they sit on the seat and look at shoulder height for what size apes fit them the best. But if you git used to a set of apes its hard to go to anything else and be happy.
Oh yea who sells Psycho Chubbies. And did you look at braded cables . Did you git yer cables from the same place.
