Check out nationalcycle.com and take a look at their Spartan quick release.

I have one on my Dyna and its easy on, easy off.

Its also polycarbonate as opposed to acrylic. Much stronger than acrylic and they don't scratch as easy.

I ended up getting a pair of Memphis Shades deflectors for the forks to keep the air from blowing up around the tank.

Great to see you posting on the dyna form! How is your recovery coming along?

I just purchased the Memphis Shades Slim 17" to replace my 14" compact shield. Just transferred the HD quick connect hardware to the 17" shield. I needed a taller shield for over 70 mph travels. Was getting serious buffeting with the 14" at 75 mph.

To use a Clearview, you need the Harley windshield framework and mounts. I have the Clearview. It might be better than the Harley SS. I’d just stick with the Harley quick detach Super Sport windshield.

I'll post a picture later. The mount is quick disconnect, and accepts multiple versions of windshields should you want to change it up in the future.
Great advice...love the windshield....Thanks

Depending on price, and if it fits 49mm forks, I'd be interested in the windshield.

I have a stock Harley quick detach hardware with a Clearview Shield with recurve on my 07 Wide Glide.
If it is a stagnant no wind day it kicks *** up to 85 mph...
if you are in a headwind there is major buffeting above 55mph
it kicks *** when it’s cold or a hot summer night(bugs)

it is not a cure all to say the least, there are shortcomings and the turbulence some days is just unbearable but it’s always above 55-60 mph

i leave mine on all the time as I feel the benefits outweigh the cons...

Its a Wide Glide....you are a human sail...FOR ME it takes the wind blast off my chest and a 200mile day is effortless.

just my opinions and observations.
