Ok, so I need a new rear tire on the bob beforean upcoming trip. I have pretty much narrowed it down to the Metzeler 880 or the Avon Storm AV56, both in 170/60/17.
Does anyone have experience with the Avon?? I have heard good things about the Metzeler but would appreciate all opinions

I have been running Avons Roadrunners for the last 10 years and I have founbd them to be one helluvan upgrade from the Dunlops. I have a set of Avon Venom-X tires sitting in my garage awaiting mounting as I type this. I have ridden friends bikes with the Metzlers and they are just as good a tire as the Avons from what I have experienced so you cannot go wrong no matter what you decide.
