Default Front Fender - Wide Glide Width - 120mm Tire

Hello,

I have a 2013 Super Glide that is undergoing some work including installation of Wide Glide triple clamps and a 21 x 3.5 front wheel with a 120mm wide tire. I tried ordering a wide glide front fender for it, but the fender is too narrow (made for the 80mm tire). I've been searching online for a while and I can't find a chart or list of fork widths between the various Dyna models. It looks like the Super Glide and Street Bob from 2013 had the same tire dimension of 100/90-19. Did the Street Bob have the wider front end (same width as the Wide Glide)? What about the Fat Bob fork width? I'm just trying to figure out what fender to order or what models to hunt for.

Thanks,

Chris

I did 120 on my 2003 WG and the fender covers about 90% of the tire. It looks OK and the tire throws very little grime onto the motor.

Well if it were stock the bob and Superglide come with what are called mid glide trees. You have put wide glide trees on, only way now is to measure the distance between your mounting points on your sliders....plus don’t use tire sizing for rim width, they are not the same.

as for fenders, there are tons out there from Arlen Ness, to RWD to klock works etc etc ..but you need to order for a wide glide or custom application.

Thanks for the responses everyone.

Is the Fat Bob a "wide" fork width?

I've tried a Drag Specialties Wide Glide fender and it won't clear the tire.

Wlde Glide fender is for a 80 90 21"

Street Bob designed for 100 90 19" a little wider but needs mount mods to fit over 21" tire.

I like it Snug!!

Anyone know if the Fat Bob has the wide front end?

Chris
