Anyone experienced the same issue ?
I have a 2017 fxdls and i noticed fog in my headlight and same in me speedo. It is still under warranty so ill go to my dealer to know if it’s under warranty. I already asked for the speedo and its cover by the warranty. Asked to pay the difference to get a digital but my dealership refused right away.

 

Had same issue with my 14, dealer replaced under warranty. No they won't let you pay the difference to upgrade, not how warranty works. To get paid by the manufacture the dealer bills out the stock part number and has to send back the defective part for reimbursement. Gotta be replaced with the same part they took out.

 

Condensation of a headlight or speedo lens is common. They will likely replace it under warranty but expect the replacements to do the same thing.

 

Just buy you self a $45 wisamic led replacement off of Amazon. It is plug and play and no fog..... I did that on my S as soon as I was riding when the sun wasn't up yet and it greatly increased light output.

As for the speedo. Mine both fog. I think everyone's does.

 

My speedo fogs and the one on my 2004 did, too. I never noticed it on the headlight, but I went for the Daymaker this spring.

Point is... very few original Harley parts left on my bike sans the tins it seems lol
