Default Need help with question about the inner shift lever.

Hello Everyone, I have 04 FXD and last year I bought the HD Floorboard kit

The inner shift lever will only fit a single shifter i want to know if this will work
. so i can use these kind of heel toe shifters
Sorry for the big pictures, i had to make my own heel toe shifter and it works but i want something more nice. I hope that this is not to confusing and someone can help me with my question.

Thank you

It can fit the two levers on, yes, but with the curve on the bracket arm that goes to the shift rod I think you will be limiting the movement of the arm because it will hit the downtubes or the primary and not line up properly with the shifter shaft arm. That or you will need a shorter shift rod. Also, I think that bracket arm is shorter as well causing other issues with the shaft arm alignment. If you find a shift lever that just has the longer lever mount you may also have to put footboard extensions on to allow enough room to prevent the levers from hitting the inside of your foot while on the board.

So you know, the shaft I linked is an example. It is actually a touring shaft and probably too long for your application.
