Default Front fork, is this the right look?

Got alittle worried if it's something missing on my dyna fatbob front fork? Or maybe its just me cause Im a rookie

It's fine. Just took mine off last night and it looks exactly the same.

That crosshole is to stick a screwdriver or such through so you can keep the axle from spinning as you tighten the nut on the other side.

Yeah, having the nut on the left side and nothing, not even a ridge to keep it in place on the right, threw me as well.

Greene Brothers Designs makes a replacement axle that looks great.

On my wide glide (per manual) you are supposted to use a 7/16 drill bit in the hole so the hole is flush with the fork leg.

That's only for 2000-07 ... they changed that in 2008 with the change to 25mm ... NO Drill bit used for 25mm axle (the hole is in a different location)

Jens~ Take some gloss black finger nail polish to touch up your axle end. You've got PC's fork legs so you might as well complete the project with a little black paint instead of rusty/corroded ugliness.
