What do you guys recommend for a windshield heigth? 15" or 17"

I'm 5'11" standing so average heigth.

 

The MSF says that the windshield should stop just below your eyes so that your not looking through it. If you get one that's too tall you can cut it down to fit. Make a pattern out of poster board to the contour that you want. Fold it in half verticaly to make sure both sides are even. Tape it to the windshield and cut along the pattern with a fine tooth jigsaw. Sand the top edge with progressively finer grades of paper till you get to 400 grit to give it a finished edge. Be careful to just sand the edge not the faces. This is real easy and it takes me about 20 minutes from start to finish. Granted if you can't follow your pattern very well, more sanding is involved. You can use a file to work out bad spots if you make them.
