HD Bags On The Street Bob

I went through the exact same process today. Picked up the motorcycle lift from Harbor Fright, installed the Great Bike Gear relo kit, and installed saddlebags. Only difference is I went with leatherpros and unfortunately they do not have that nice recess in the rear of the bags to accomodate the brake light so my lights are pushing up against my bags.
I didn’t mod my lift from Harbor Freight though, I just used it as is. What did you do to it to make it fit the Dyna better?

You can do a search here about sears lift mod. Basically unbolting the lift pads, cutting off the the center bar that connects them, and reinstalling them outward with 5 1/2” 1/2 - 13 bolts. It widens them just enough to clear the Dyna oil pan. Congrats on the leather pros. That’s the direction I originally wanted to go in but just couldn’t do the expense. That’s why I jumped on my bags when I found them on face book. The weird thing is I really like how they look, have seen them on HD websit, on sporties, but never on a Dyna.

@MadMensch which LeatherPro bags did you go with?
Those HD bags look great. Fits well with the style of your bike.
