Default Could faulty voltage regulator damage TSM?

My voltage regulator went bad which caused the speedometer to malfunction and try to cook a battery which produced a lot of smoke. In the days since I replaced it I've noticed my turn signals do not stop flashing after I've completed a turn. Additionally, out of nowhere this evening, my Dyna kept stalling out on me while I was cruising. I was able to restart it while rolling and got myself home. Could I have fried the TSM in a way that would cause this behavior?

Yes, I was almost getting 19V when I tested with bad regulator. I guess there is a code for high voltage the TSM will spit out if that is the case.

Has anyone bypassed their TSM by jumping pins 9 and 12 in the harness like this fella did?

UGH, I tried jumping those pins and I damaged something. The bike will not respond AT ALL now, even with the TSM reinstalled, no dash lights, nothing. Fuses are good, battery is full charged, what the heck did I damage?
