I still think you shouldn't have a problem walking that sucker down my 04 doesnt have much done to it and I havent had anyone really take me with an american bike and I ride with lots of different people if you have a warranty still the dfo may affect it not possitive though TC would know.

if you want stop light to stop light power, get the sprocket to change the gearing in the primary. It's allright for over the road, but from point a to b it made a HUGE improvement on the bikes overall power and get up and go.

when my bike was just a 88 we changed the gearing, intake, carb, ignition, exhaust and there was a few other things, and it walked all over everyones bike! It's all about what mods go togather

for pipes, I would recomend thunder header or Bassani Pro streets, in the 7 sets of pipes we have tried on mine and dyno pulls prove that both these systems offer the best overall power.

Carb, if your running an 88 you can put a thunder slide kit in it. Then once you modify it more you can upgrade to a mikuni.

Intake, you could upgrade the the screamin' eagle.

Ok, I see it says if I have any other ECM modifications I have to remove them before installing a DFO, does this include the Stage 1 re-map? Cause when i got the stage I air cleaner and SEII slipons I had the dealer remap it. But now it has the V&H pipes, do I need to get the remap taken off, or can i just get the DFO and install it right over the remap? Thanks again in advance..

My DFO resides under my seat, where the wire harness from the ECU (?) plugs into the injector thingy; my mechanic unplugged the harness from the injectors and plugged it into the DFO, and then plugged the DFO into the injectors. If you had a major reason to exersice your warranty, you would merely unplug the DFO, and you have an unmodifieed bike.

My mechanic said that he wouldn't bother installing a DFO in my friends anniversary FB because it already had the ST 1 mod (intake, remap, exhaust) and that his HP gain would be minimal. However, I don't believe it can harm the bike on top of other mods; your just increasing the flow of fuel through the injectors.

Well its not only that it also gives you the ability to tune the bike as if it was running a carb so if you were to add any mods in addition you wouldnt have to worry about a remap every time.
