A quick add- if you use FL lowers with the FXDWG trees, you'll have to have wheel spacers made & shim the caliper ~1/8", as the Wide Glide trees are a bit wider than the FLS/FLT trees. If you use FXDWG/FXSTC sliders & appropriate fender (FLST fenders will sit ~1" too high on 41mm FX sliders), you'll be golden, as the FLST/FXST/FXDWG hubs are the same. FXDWG trees will be a bolt on, but possibly hard to find. FXST trees are the same casting, to include the Dyna fork stops, but the 'wings' are left longer. 10" minutes with a 4" angle grinder & a Dremel to trim 1/4" - 5/16" off the upper corner of each wing & yer GTG. With these '01 FXST trees on my '02 FXD, it even retained the factory neck lock function. There's a TON of info on every variation of this at the FL-Dyna group.

I converted my front end. 09 Street Bob. I had the Wideglide trees put on, and needed spacers for the wheels and fender. I havent noticed much difference in handling. Pics:

I'd like to try out that wife glide myself. What's her name?

I've seen a couple of wide glide front ends for sale with 3 degree rake and 2 over and 4 over. I think stock wg is 3 degree rake in trees and 2 over. Thanks for any feedback.

FWIW, I think BlueBob's bike looks excellent! I'd definitely tap that.
