street bob frame replacement to low rider
I have a 2013 street bob fxdb (103 six speed belt drive) the main frame has damage and i would like to get a new frame, the rest of the bike is in fairly good shape so naturally i would like to reuse as many of the original part as possible. BUT I have considered using a low rider frame. My question is if i was to go with the low rider frame, what years would be my best years choice and what parts would i have to plan on replacing?
Any thoughts / opinions ?

The Frame Part Numbers for FXDB and FXDL are the same 47745-06B - you will have to look through the parts catalog to find the other differences between the 2.

so I already had a a 2013 street bob most everything is in good useable shape the frame however has a badly rusted area on it from a longtime battery leak that occured while it was it storage
Ive been shopping around found more low rider frames seem to be available didnt realize it was the same frame.
Question: some of the older frames look very similar none of them would work?

I thought about that, harley requires the chassis neck which is possible, although i was hoping to have both frames at the same time so i could just take parts off of one frame and put them back on the other frame rather than having a basket case.
plus harley new frames are substantially more expensive than a used frame and my bikes on a budget
