Default Pictures of battery tender pigtail attachment wanted

How do you route your battery tender pigtail? In front of the battery or alongside the positive OEM cable? It's a tight fit as it is. Where does your pigtail connection appear - at the front of the battery cover or the rear? I dont want the metal of the battery cover to cut through the pigtail's wire. I've been up a long time so maybe this is a dumb question. I have not even looked at the bike and it may be an easy thing to do.

Mine runs through the positive terminal hole in the battery box to the coil on the left side. All of the extra wire length is between the face of the battery and the battery cover.

Same here. Tender pigtail on the left, Gerbings pigtail on the right.

I made a plexi mount for mine that bolts to the stock coil mount.

I guess Im a simpleton,... I attached mine to the battery and ran the lead under the seat, it was perfect length just to barely stick out there

Mine is super simple right now. It just pokes out behind the battery, and it's attached by the dust cap, looped around the top frame rail.

I have all mine are on the right side, either just under the seat, above the rear strut, or on the Ultra just behind the rider heat shield.
