Default Hard start on my 2010 Dyna FXDF

Hello everyone, I've had a weird issue with my 2010 Fat Bob. If I don't run it every day it will start really hard and turn over very slowly. Sometimes I need to fully charge the battery for it to even start at all? With a full charge, it still starts hard, but eventually will start. I have an after market speedo that shows my voltage while running and it is usually around 14 volts or so? I replaced the battery last year so I don't think that's it? I then thought it was maybe the starter? But I'm hoping someone might have an idea? It's made reliable riding near impossible since I don't know when it will start or not? I included a video to hopefully better describe what it's doing. Thanks!

I would check for any DTC codes as well as tightness and condition of your battery cables end-to-end and in between just to make certain they are not loose or any damage. I would confirm the health of the battery as well regardless of it's age.

I beleive you can use the 07-09 DTC code retrieval proceedure in this thread?

What does the voltage monitor say when you're trying to start it?

Put a voltmeter on the battery when you are trying to start... if it dips below 9 the battery will be shot.

Next simple things would to check your battery connections are clean, good and tightened up.

Lastly, make sure your grounds under the seat are in good shape. Mine looked like this and she was struggling to fire. Cleaned them up and fires right up (I did also replace the battery but still wasn't starting as fast as it should)

Sorry I didn't get back sooner, I'm a plant operator by trade and the past 36 hours my plant was broke down. Back up and running now...

I'll get a volt meter on the battery, and check all the connections and let everyone know. Thank you for the tips! Hopefully it's something simple like that!
