Tack rating for primary oil? What the best rating and which oils have it and which don't? Where is the rating listed? Barnett suggest it....but where?

 

I don't think it's a spec for a standard oil, but 'tackifiers' are generally additives... and I don't think are necessary for our bikes.

 

Oils that are rated for the JASO-MA standard are safe for use with wet clutches. (Not sure if that relates to what you are asking...)

 

the reason i ask is barnett paper work suggests it, so i'll use whats suggested, for their products best performance. there a few different ratings for tack and the type of clutch material used.... i.e. racing and street...
