my 2 cents - full faced helmets should never be worn on a harley.

Greg 07 streetbob

Extremely bad advice for those of us who give children rides.
I use very expensive full-face helmets for my 3 children, because I've been there.
My entire face has been torn off in bike crashes, not just teeth, face from ear to ear and my left eye.
I can see why you'd wanna wear a full face. No sense scaring the little kiddies.

Good Luck

Tom

Got used to a full face years ago. they offer the best protection if you happen to go down. If it rains yer covered. If you git behind a vehicle throwing dirt, yer covered.
Got a AVG modular helment from the HD store. I ride with the clear shield up till I need it. Don't like riding with nothing esle.
Old lady took a MSF course, 2 dudes crashed in the course fell and hit their chins and face hit the ground. She seem in the class why I likethe full face.
Over the years Ilearned what I can adapt to thesafest. To each their own on the level of protection they want.
I've had friends go down, seen their faces torn up, grossed me out.
My buddy son slid over 200 fet on his faceand the side of his head. He wouldn't be here not if it wasn't for a full facecrash helment.
I've learned from experience since 1964. If you feel safe and have good insurance ride the way you want. I will not discrimintate yer rights to do it yer way. I don't ride with what looks the best. When I ride I look for safety.
When the moment might arrive you can never be over prepared. I've been down more than one time. Wasn't my fault or nothing I could do to prevent it either. Happened too fast. I was lucky.
You can never have too much protection or be tooo safe. Yer lifemay be in yer own decesions.
