The anti/helmet pro folks should leave their convictions at the door and just answer the man's question about how to secure an extra lid to his ride. Don't bother grandstanding about your views on lids.

To answer young padawans question, If you have a grab strap, I assume you have a two up. Easiest way is to bungee it to the seat unless your sure you can do it safelyunder the head light and a full face isn't easy to secure there.

Girls are nothing but trouble.

Hey, what if you got one of those thumb screw type rear seat bolts and just put the helmet over the rear seat and cliped the chin strap under the seat? Then when you wanted to take a passenger, you would just pop up the steat, grab the helmet and then bolt the seat back down.

i usually pull the straps tight and snap it around my bar clamp...i do this with my phantom pad stuffed under it as well and has always worked for me and stayed in place even on the freeway.

If you have tall risers (mine are 6"), you can also secure the helmet strap to the center of the bars and let it rest just above the headlight. I'm old and grizzly and don't often pick up chicks (unless their in my chicken coop), but I do occationally exercise my right to ride w/o a helmet in my home state. I still need to have a helmet handy if I happen to stray into Nebraska.

my 2 cents - full faced helmets should never be worn on a harley.
Bingo.

I just carry it in my saddle bags. Thats the easiest cleanest way to do it. But if you really are wearing a full face on your Harley you won't need it. Even the non riding chicks can pick out the weird kid.
