2000 wide glide

A guy I know is trying to sell his 2000 Dyna Wide Glide with 8234 miles. It is a clean bike. Needs tires. weather cracked from sitting. Has a small leak. I didn't look that hard to see where it is coming from. He is asking $6800.00 and I am interested in it. What is Y'alls opinion on this? Best I can tell it books out at about $5500.00.

I paid $5500 for an 07 street bob with 14k miles. For the immediately required investment of new tires and any other gremlins that arise from a bike that's been sitting too long, his price is unrealistic.

It's also hard to judge value without good pictures.
